Pray: "Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law." - Psalm 119:18
Read: Galations 1:10-23
1. How do you seek the approval of other people? Pray repentance with Psalm 51.
2. How did Paul receive the gospel? How did you first hear the gospel? Pray with thanksgiving to God with John 3:16.
3. What were you like before the gospel was revealed to you?
4. Who can you share your testimony with today? Pray for those who have never heard of the gospel in India.

What is your gospel?
Pray: ACTS
Adoration
Confession
Thanksgiving
Supplication - Today pray for friends.
Read Galations 1:1-9
Reflect:
1a. Who sent Paul and why?
1b. Who sent you and why?
2a. What is the gospel?
2b. What "gospel" are you tempted to believe?
2c. How can you reject that "gospel"?
Pray through the passage and memorize it!

More Renfrews
I love getting the most out of one pattern. I've made 2 other shirt dresses out of the Renfrew pattern. I used a shirt dress that I have already to help determine the link.
Yellow knit ponte dress:
So excited to wear this color! I don't have a lot of yellow clothes. I sewed it just like my white renfrew from before, but added length to it.
Green knit dress:
So comfy! I ordered this sweater knit fabric from fabric.com and was delighted to open it and actually like it. I later found out though that I sewed it inside. Did you know knit has an right and wrong side? Sweater knit is challenging to sew. I tried sewing a regular circular neck, but it seemed to pop up, so I just sewed a cowl neck instead. I just love these cowl necks.
I want to keep making these simple dresses, but I'm itching to make a boat neck or add some more style to it. I have a blue jersey knit that I also ordered, but I want it to be a little more stylish. Ideas?

Sewaholic Renfrew Top First Try
My skirt needed a white shirt to match, and what do you know: Grey's Fabrics was offering a shirt class!
PDF Pattern:
This was the first time I printed a PDF pattern. So much better than the thin papers. I actually really enjoyed cutting out the pattern and taping it together. And no fear about making mistakes because you can just print it again! Plus, I got to buy it for cheaper through Sewaholic than from the store.
Fabric:
I originally bought knit ponte fabric because I wanted to make a Coco and sturdy knits were recommended. After making this shirt, I actually prefer a stretchier knit to be more comfortable. It's too stiff and rough for my liking. Also, the white is see-through...boo. This fabric was fabulously cheap from Joanns though. Using cheaper fabric for a first shirt is a wise idea.
Sewing:
I used a serger for the first time and was so excited about how fast you can finish seams! It's a fast and easy pattern to sew up.
Fit:
Here's the rub. I'm not pear-shaped like it's designed for. I had already serged the seams so I couldn't fix it, but next time I want to make the shoulder pieces wider. It's too tight at the armpits. I also had to take in the cuffs by one inch as well as the sleeves. Then the cuffs fit nicely.
Style:
I've never really worn cowl necks, but I now love the style. Not a fan of the band at the bottom. It makes my body loose the hourglass shape and I look more square. Next time I'll leave off the stretchy band or even put it higher to make a tunic shirt.
Overall:
Easy and fun! I am already searching for new stretchier and softer fabric to make more.
